After reading Dervins it made focus on that everyone is difference and that not all students are going to learn the same way and also will think definitely. Knowing this it made me start to think about my teaching as a whole. I need to make sure that I use differentiatedlearning so that all students can have a chance to succeed in my class. This also made me start to think how I can learn what areas students struggle in succeed what gaps students will face in my class one way that I can find out is doing some type of assessment at the start of the school year so that I can have a better understanding of my students from the start. Once I learning what the students struggle in I can proved them with the write tools to succeed in. Also I will teach students skills but they will choose the way they will use them. This will help them bridge the gaps that they face. Now I start to connect Dervins reading to Clarks. Which made me start to think about how I construct my lesson. I do not use much of the technical sections that Clarks talks about in lesson but I started to think about how I can start to use it . I feel that I use it in my units but I feel if I can make some small changes to my lesson my students could get more out of my lesson. It will also be good to know why type of learners that your students are so that you can make sure you deliver the information in a way that they obtain it best. But I will continue to use multiple ways to deliver the information because it gives the students more than one way to get the information.
