There are many different ways that you can attack teaching digital citizenship now days. I myself have never taught it but after review all the content this week I think it would be a great thing to start doing. The first thing I would do would be to a “Stand up Seat down activity” Which has all the students stand up and then seat down if they questions I ask them applies to them. This is a good way to start because it helps students learn that technology is all around them and that you have to be careful of what you do when it come social media and using the internet. Another step I would take would be to would be to have students play with Interland. This is great because it’s like a game but while you are playing you are learning about digital citizenship. I messed around with the game ant it seems like a great way to get students in gauged and learning at the same time. Another way I could introduce digital citizenship into my classroom would be to create a few scenarios that deals with digital citizenship. Once the scenarios are shared I would have students us Padlet to share what they would do or what they think is wrong with the scenario. Those are just a few ways of introducing digital citizenship into a class but I feel that they are effect ways of doing so.
