The tool I choose was Classroom Dojo. I don’t use many tools in my class right now. But I have played with a bit when I was teaching and found it pretty useful. First of all students have their own emoji that you can press to give feed back . It can be positive feedback or negative feedback. The feedback can be customized to your liking or just use the general feedback that comes from the application. You can also group students in the app and give feedback to the group as a whole. It tracks all the feedback and that can be shared with the students or even their parents. This is great because it helps track students behavior and is easy to share. The information from the app can be broken down by day or over a longer time which help track progress over time using graphs. One thing that I feel could be improved would be to have pictures of the students instead of just emojis by doing this it would help teacher like me that struggle learning names. I also like that you can take attendance with it. Another cool feature is that you can use it to select random students in the class. I’m currently still working on getting use to using the app but was pretty simple to start using . I felt that I used it well for tracking behavior and I could share with my coworkers so they could see what kid a day a student is having before they get to their class.
