1. That was a lot of information to get in from all those videos . But each video had something that stood out to me when I was watching. First when watching John Seeley Brown he said there is no better way to learn than to teach someone. This is a true fact and it is something that I’m trying to incorporate in my classroom. By being able to teacher it shows that you have mastery of the task, It also give the student that is learning a chance to receive the information in a different way than the teacher might taught it. I really like how John connected a lot of concepts to either sports or video games. With the times we are in those areas might be subjects that will get students interested when learning. One thing that I got from Howard Gardner was synthesizing information (putting it in a way you can understand) That is very important because sometimes you don’t know how to solve a task the way the teacher teaches you but you can figure it out in a way that works best for you. An additional thing that stuck out from the videos was when Daniel Pink stated the pillar for motivation are autonomy, mastery, purpose. I never thought it about it like that but once I took time to think about motivation this gave me a clearer picture how to become more motivated myself but also able to motivate my students. All the films talk about the use of technology, collaborations, and motivating in some form or another. This is something that I will continue to look at and see how I can add it to my lessons.
